Paula Lanigan brings 20+ years of health insurance industry competencies in public, government and provider sectors gained while working with national and regional health plans, the TRICARE program, and national skilled nursing and IPA organizations.

Most recently, Paula held the position of product development and implementation management for Sharp Health Plan, a regional health plan wholly owned by the premier Sharp HealthCare integrated delivery system.  Paula’s finely tuned project management and interpersonal skills allowed her to manage interdisciplinary and product-related vendor liaison teams with ease.  Paula’s deep understanding of the ramifications of product on all constituent groups (group or individual consumers, producers, providers) ensures an end-to-end implementation approach.  Paula wore many additional hats including but not limited to competitive intelligence, product-related marketing and communications development, and training.

During Paula’s tenure with Aetna, she obtained an extensive background in learning and performance consultation and analysis resulting in the development and delivery of programs geared to increase the bottom line by engaging participants in real world learning scenarios.  This experience included developing and delivering performance and learning programs for both technical product and sales skills nationally.  Paula was recruited as primary learning consultant participating on several key national product initiative launch teams.

Paula’s government programs experience includes TRICARE, Medicare and Medicaid.  Paula, as one of the originators of the TRICARE military healthcare program, had senior executive responsibility for sales, marketing, communications and customer service.  As Regional Sales Manager for a national skilled nursing company, she guided sales, communications and marketing for 14 homes.  Paula also managed regional sales, marketing and communications for a national IPA organization.

Paula’s inquisitive and thoughtful consultative approach results in energetic and comprehensive products and programs to help ensure success and contribute to bottom line results.
